Sharon is a native of Asheville, and currently resides in Flat Rock in Henderson County. She taught adult art classes for 30 plus years. She is very active in the arts community having served for several years as president of the Art League of Henderson County, of which she is still a member. She has traveled extensively and lived for several years in Europe. After moving to Henderson County in 2003 she has worked with numerous groups in support of Hendersonville's Downtown initiatives. She currently serves on the Tourism Development Authority Board. Other interests include spending time with friends and family, the theater, symphony, and culinary arts.
